SEPTEMBER 22, 2009

Tough crowd. The eighth meeting of Skip Crackle Pop was one of the most awkward. There was a low SCP turnout (six present, including me), which is understandable since Atlanta was the victim of massive flooding. However, there was a high laptopian turnout and I got the feeling that the eclectic playlist and live mic cramped their style. Don't get me wrong; I'm appreciative that anyone sticks around at all. But when it comes to sharing, there's safety in numbers and the head count was not in our favor. It's no surprise that event number eight clocked in at a brisk 70 minutes.

The good news is that the mystery couple from last month returned. One more month of attendance and they'll have earned their official SCP membership card, which is in the shape of a free bottle of beer.

The set list can be found below, and photos from this meeting can be found here.
